description This professional master's degree work consists of an architectural project of a headquarters of the environmental agency IDEMA (Institute for Sustainable Development and Environment), in one of the Rio Grande do Norte Nature Conservation Units, in the Piquiri Una Environmental Protection Area. This document consists of a technical report and architectural project. The work was motivated by the inefficiency and impacts verified in the architectural model currently executed in Conservation Units existing in RN, not matching the identity of sustainability and environment of the Institute, to which the author is professionally linked. The proposal emphasizes the use of wood to reduce the environmental impact of the building and its operation, as well as to increase compliance with thermal and light comfort standards through bioclimatic passive strategies, energy efficiency and integration of the proposed building with the landscape. The concept of the proposal is synergy, where the various elements that make up the landscape of the place, aligned with the architectural proposal, work together in order to achieve efficiency through integration. For this, the characteristics of the site and the climatic, social and landscape aspects were observed through the analysis of landscape views, constructive materials and public works guidelines, through the assessment of the environment built in the existing Ecoposts. The architectural proposal of the Piquiri Una Ecoposto makes use of the wood frame construction system, with cement board sealing, and a flat wood structure for reforesting Eucalyptus. The wood and glass frames were designed to be adjustable to the space users, allowing the building to adapt to different deployments in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The project aims to serve as a reference for future architectural projects with a similar environmental preservation context, with the expected result encouraging public institutions to increasingly incorporate sustainability into their agenda.

Este trabalho de conclusão de mestrado profissional consiste em um projeto arquitetônico de uma sede do órgão ambiental IDEMA (Instituto de Desenvolvimento Sustentável e Meio Ambiente), em uma das Unidades de Conservação da Natureza do Rio Grande do Norte, na Área de Proteção Ambiental Piquiri Una. Este documento é composto por um relatório técnico e projeto arquitetônico. O trabalho foi motivado pela ineficiência e impactos verificados no modelo arquitetônico atualmente executado em Unidades de Conservação existentes no RN, não correspondendo a identidade de sustentabilidade e meio ambiente do Instituto, ao qual a autora está vinculada profissionalmente. A proposta enfatiza o uso da madeira para reduzir o impacto ambiental da construção e sua operação, bem como aumentar o atendimento das normas de conforto térmico e luminoso por meio de estratégias passivas bioclimáticas, eficiência energética e integração do edifício proposto com a paisagem. O conceito da proposta é a sinergia, onde os variados elementos que compõe a paisagem do local, alinhados à proposta arquitetônica, funcionam em conjunto com o objetivo de alcançar a eficiência por meio da integração. Para isso foram observadas as características do local e os aspectos climáticos, sociais e paisagísticos, através da análise das vistas da paisagem, e dos materiais construtivos e diretrizes de obras públicas, por meio da avaliação do ambiente construído nos Ecopostos existentes. A proposta arquitetônica do Ecoposto de Piquiri Una faz uso do sistema construtivo wood frame, com vedação de placas cimentícias, e estrutura de madeira plana de reflorestamento de Eucalipto. As esquadrias de madeira e vidro foram projetadas de forma a serem ajustáveis aos usuários do espaço, permitindo que a edificação se adapte a diferentes implantações no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte.
