The experiment lasted 28 days where 24 castrated males with average weight of 78.00 ± 8.76 kg were used, distributed in a randomized block design with four treatments and six replications. The collected data were evaluated using different SAS Proc GLM tests and the variables analyzed were performance, blood parameters and thrombogenic and atherogenic indices of bacon and loin cuts. There was a significant effect (p <0.05) for performance data, omega 6 and 3 ratios on sections and for total (initial and final), LDL (final), HDL (final) and VLDL (final) variables of blood parameters. Analyzing the results of the experiment it was concluded that coconut oil supplementation is indicated to promote improvements in animal performance, and in turn safflower oil is recommended to promote increase of HDL level and improvement of blood parameters. Objetiva-se com este trabalho avaliar o efeito da inclusão de óleos vegetais (coco e cártamo) e da ractopamina no consumo de ração, ganho de peso, eficiência alimentar, índices trombogênicos, aterogênicos e parâmetros sanguíneos (Colesterol total, HDL, LDL e Triglicerídeos) de suínos em terminação. O experimento teve duração de 28 dias onde foram utilizados 24 machos castrados com peso médio de 78,00 ± 8,76 kg, distribuídos em um delineamento de blocos casualizados, com quatro tratamentos e seis repetições. Os dados coletados foram avaliados utilizando diferentes testes do Proc GLM do SAS e as variáveis analisadas foram: desempenho, parâmetros sanguíneos e índices trombogênicos e aterogênicos dos cortes toucinho e lombo. Houve efeito significativo (p < 0,05) para os dados de desempenho, relações de ômegas 6 e 3 nos cortes e para as variáveis de colesterol total (inicial e final), LDL (final), HDL (final) e VLDL (final) dos parâmetros sanguíneos.
