Resumo:Although the fact of comic content and superficiality are characteristics about it, the memes are profound aspects of a society full of paradoxes and means of innovation. About this, that way of expression, wich the senses are built by memories that becomes a viral on the internet, is the research object of this dissertation. Likewise, based on the vote of the Câmara dos Deputados, a lawsuit was instituted for a crime of fiscal responsibility against a president Dilma Rousseff, using the so-called "memes of impeachment" as an analytical corpus. We have the objective of understanding them through the complexity of their forms and meanings of the contemporary society. To base our understanding of our object, we start from Gabriel Tarde's three main sociological categories (imitation, adaptation and opposition) and analyze his formation from the perspective of Bruno Latour's Network-theory. Another theoretical contribution used in the analysis of memes is the concept of joke, developed by Sigmund Freud, whereby we investigate their tendencies and techniques to capture the other through pleasure. In this perspective, we point to memes as a kind of complex thinking in which the modern spirit expresses itself, or can express itself, through cynical/kynic insolence.
