Resumo:This these presents a study on the implementation of the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities - LBIPD in Higher Education Institutions. There is no denying the need to create this law to guarantee various rights to persons with special needs, including the right of access to higher education. To this end, a diagnosis was made at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, and at the Rural Federal University of Semi-Arid, or what is the quality of the deficiencies in their environment, what measures, technological innovations are being used or used to facilitate the access and permanence of this public, including a form of receiving-in-institutions. In principle, a study was made of the existing international legislation in this sense, adopting the Federal Constitution of 1988, and ending with an ordinary legislation, the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, also studying with CAADIS / UFERSA (Coordination of Action). Affirmative, Diversity and Social Inclusion) and CAENE / UFRN (Permanent Commission for Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs). As a methodology, it is a qualitative research, through which was made bibliographic survey and non-participant observation. Subsequently, a survey was made of the physical structure, equipment and capacity of servers to receive the request discussed. Legal and theoretical foundations were reached that justified the investigation of the intended case study. Proven that, as institutions effectively affecting or public, either within the scope of the student, or within the scope of servers.
