Resumo:For this case, the portfolio selection process is necessary and know the circumstances more and more, increasing the quality, increasing the quality of the action and reducing the costs. The present work aims to quantify the chemical content of Acacia mangium Willd bark due to the influence of the soil and the sample collection period, as well as the analysis of its production of wood adhesives. The collections were sustained in the experimental area of the Jundiaí Agricultural School, Macaíba, Rio Grande do Norte, in the months of June 2017 and January 2018, and in the rainy and dry season. Eight individuals were slaughtered in the period and four in the dry period for collecting their bark. The tannin quantification was performed with the use of 250g of bark for 250 ml of distilled water, the condensed tannins index of the A. mangium bark collected in the two periods (dry and rainy). ), as well as in the two subplots (more intensive and less intensive soil preparation). The tannins for the production of adhesives were extracted with 1kg of peel to 10L of distilled water, in an autoclave of 121 ° C for 2hs, in washes washed and dried at a temperature of 40 ± 45ºC, until complete evaporation. Tincture of wood for A. mearnsii tannins, which were removed in 360g of powder, 40g of paraformaldehyde in 400 ml of distilled water, even (pH, viscosity and loss of solids), nine panels of Pinus sp. With dimensions of 30 x 30 cm, consisting of five slides of Pinus sp., Three collectors with adhesives of A. mangium tannin, three with tannin A. mearnsii and three with the synthetic phenolformaldehyde, totaling nine panels. It is concluded that the content of the bark of the species Acacia mangium of the city of Macaíba / RN, in the Northeast region of Brazil, was not affected by the preparation of the soil received and that it can be classified as a tannin producer in the rainy season, It can be used as a wood adhesive.
