Observing the applicability of the techniques that can be inserted in the execution of the work, developing strategies of reading and technical study of the piece from practical studies, serving as a subsidy for violists interested in their studies. Having as methodology, the theoretical reference necessary to the development of the dissertation and semi-structured interview to be performed with the composer. Finally, this project can be justified as one more collaboration to the repertoire of the viola in the music of Brazilian chamber that has been emphasizing more and more and gaining space in the concert halls of Brazil and the world outside. And so it would be another opportunity to perform one of the works of Liduino Pitombeira, one of the renowned contemporary Brazilian music composers. O presente trabalho pretende expor os aspectos técnico-interpretativos da viola na Seresta n°3 Para Viola e Piano de Liduino Pitombeira. Observando a aplicabilidade das técnicas que possam ser inseridas na execução da obra, desenvolvendo estratégias de leitura e estudo técnico da peça a partir de estudos práticos, servindo de subsídio para violistas interessados em seus estudos. Tendo como metodologia, levantamento do referencial teórico necessário ao desenvolvimento da dissertação e entrevista semiestruturada a ser realizada com o compositor. Por fim, esta dissertação pode ser justificada como mais uma colaboração ao repertório da viola na música de câmara brasileira, que vem se destacando cada vez mais e ganhando espaço nas salas de concertos do Brasil e mundo a fora.
