description It is purpose in this essay to understand the lived and (re)interpreted senses in the comments of Tribuna do Norte Facebook page about the event Alcaçuz, the rebellion occurred in January 2017 at the Alcaçuz state penitentiary, at the Nisia Floresta county, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The concept of event has been used to refer to the facts that erupt the routines of the subjects and society in which they are insert and that induce some kind of rupture with the ordinary. These events are noticed by the society that talks about them and inaugurates interactions from them. Besides, they become increasingly complex in its symbolic dimension, when the media and its logic begins to cross the ones of other domain, not only due to the visibility regime that it offers, but also because they configure as a space of sociability and interaction. In this sense, it elects as a theoretical contribution to the pragmatist approach of the event, especially the comprehension of the symbolic dimension and its hermeneutic and affectation powers (QUÉRÉ, 2012; FRANÇA, 2012b; LOPES, FRANÇA, 2017). The method applied for the commentaries analysis is the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), with emphasis in the three-dimensional framework (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001), specifically in the concepts of intertextuality, interdiscursivity and coherence in dialogues with the modes of operation of ideology (THOMPSON, 2009). The data collect was accomplished in Tribuna do Norte’s pages posts, in the social media website Facebook, corresponding the period from 14 to 20 January 2017, which culminated in 25.726 commentaries. From them, it was achieved 805 discursive sequences and it was elected to the analysis the most representative one from each day of collect, which totalized seven discursive sequences and 191 commentaries. In the analysis, it was performed a critical reading of each discursive sequence and, then, a synthesis of the mainly senses that Alcaçuz, in its symbolic dimension, made emerge by means of the constituted public over there. The investigation reveals that the commentary area of Tribuna do Norte on Facebook, featured as a performance space for the hate discourse against the inmates. The predominance of this kind of discourse in Alcaçuz circulation minimizes the uncertainties that it inaugurates and the implications of its occurrence in the society life, gives margin to the confrontation of the event as something fun, and naturalizes the barbarism when it denies the dignity of the individuals who occupy the position of inmates and when it removes the strength of the powers charged by the event.

Propõe-se neste trabalho compreender os sentidos vividos e (re)interpretados nos comentários da página da Tribuna do Norte no Facebook sobre o acontecimento Alcaçuz, a rebelião que ocorreu em janeiro de 2017 na Penitenciária Estadual de Alcaçuz, no município de Nísia Floresta, no Rio Grande do Norte. O conceito de acontecimento vem sendo utilizado para se referir aos fatos que irrompem as rotinas dos sujeitos e da sociedade em que se inserem e que provocam algum tipo de ruptura com o ordinário. Esses acontecimentos são notados pela sociedade que fala sobre eles e inaugura interações a partir deles. Além disso, eles se tornam cada vez mais complexos em sua dimensão simbólica, quando a mídia e suas lógicas passam a atravessar as de outros domínios, não apenas em virtude do regime de visibilidade que oferecem mas também por se configurarem como um espaço de sociabilidade e de interação. Nesse sentido, elege-se como aporte teórico a abordagem pragmatista do acontecimento, em especial a compreensão da dimensão simbólica e dos seus poderes hermenêutico e de afetação (QUÉRÉ, 2012; FRANÇA, 2012b; LOPES, FRANÇA, 2017). O método empregado para a análise dos comentários é a Análise de Discurso Crítica (ACD), com ênfase no modelo tridimensional (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001), em específico nos conceitos de intertextualidade, interdiscursividade e coerência em diálogo com os modos de operação da ideologia (THOMPSON, 2009). Realizou-se a coleta de dados em postagens das páginas da Tribuna do Norte, no site de rede social Facebook, referentes ao período de 14 a 20 de janeiro de 2017, o que resultou em 25.726 comentários. A partir deles, chegou-se a 805 sequências discursivas e elegeu-se para análise a mais representativa de cada dia de coleta, o que totalizou sete sequências discursivas e 191 comentários. Na análise, realizou-se uma leitura crítica de cada sequência discursiva e, em seguida, uma síntese dos principais sentidos que Alcaçuz, em sua dimensão simbólica, fez emergir por meio dos públicos que constituiu ali. A investigação revela que o espaço de comentários da Tribuna do Norte no Facebook configurou-se como um local de performance para o discurso de ódio contra os detentos. A predominância desse tipo de discurso na circulação de Alcaçuz minimiza as incertezas que ele inaugura e as implicações da sua ocorrência na vida da sociedade, dá margem ao enfrentamento do acontecimento como algo divertido, e naturaliza a barbárie ao negar dignidade aos indivíduos que ocupam a posição de detento e ao retirar a força dos poderes que o acontecimento carrega. 2018-11-23T21:47:00Z 2018-11-23T21:47:00Z 2018-07-20 masterThesis PINTO, Kamyla Alvares.
