The proposal was based on a constructive system concerned with the reduction of waste and mitigation of the environmental impact caused by the building. To achieve this objective, the system appropriated bioclimatic criteria to promote better use of the conditions of the place and the rationalization of construction processes through tectonics and modulation. Among the applied methodologies were developed theoretical-methodological-referential studies on the subject, which allowed to establish project directives, such as: the development of the building on stilts, respecting, thus, the natural profile of the terrain; the insertion of a central courtyard as a way to favor the ventilation and natural lighting of the surroundings; and the application of a permeable envelope as a protective barrier of the building. The studies developed and the discussions presented promoted an awakening to issues that are usually forgotten in the practice of professional practice, enriching the project methods present in the daily life of architectural offices, thus favoring the relationship between the individual and the environment and demonstrating a concern with natural resources applied in construction. O presente trabalho teve como cerne a produção de um anteprojeto para uma Unidade de Pronto Atendimento na cidade do Natal/RN. A proposta sustenta-se na adoção de um sistema construtivo preocupado com a redução de resíduos e amenização do impacto ambiental causado pela edificação. Para alcançar tal objetivo, o sistema apropriou-se de critérios bioclimáticos, para promover melhor aproveitamento dos condicionantes do lugar e a racionalização de processos construtivos através da tectônica e da modulação. Dentre as metodologias aplicadas foram desenvolvidos estudos teórico-metodológicos-referenciais sobre o tema, que possibilitaram estabelecer diretrizes projetuais, tais como: o desenvolvimento da edificação em palafitas, respeitando, assim, o perfil natural do terreno; a inserção de um pátio interno central como forma de favorecer a ventilação e iluminação natural dos ambientes; e a aplicação de uma envoltória permeável como barreira protetora da edificação.
