Resumo:This paper focus on the life trajectories of activists from the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST – Movement of the rural workers without land), that when building up their activism, felt the constant need to fight for a lesser unequal society. The MST is a social movement international and nationally renomed and it‟s main goal is to perform agrarian reform in Brazil, with an particular interest, that is to occupy the unproductive lands as for the Federal Constitution‟s definition. Nonetheless, the occupation does not refers only about the larger estates, but also about ocuppying public institutions to pressure the government foward the agrarian reform and public policies within the rural settlements, expropriation of land, etc. The militants came mainly from rural enviroment, others are supporters of the MST causes, some of them applies to the militancy, that is a condition that carries many significancies, because there is the subject that considers himself an activist and the subject that the MST sees as an activist. The MST activist is initially integrated in a training process, that adapts the demands and characteristics from the MST, the formation is a continuous process, that qualifies the activist to interfeer in the reality to change it. The engajement comes in many ways, such as: occupation and/or aquisiton of a landmark; admission to the Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA – Adulst and Young‟s Education Program) or superior education of the federal government, etc. This paper proposes to comprehend the life trajectories from the militant experience that begins before the appliance to the movement and remains throught their lives and, as for some of them, an organizational rupture occurs, but not as for the engajement from the movement‟s politics causes. The metodology used was the participant observation as intended to build a proximous relationship with the researche‟s interluctors, and also interviews for them to describe their life trajectories before the appliance for the movement. As for the theorical references, the paper is related to theoricists that discuss how activists approaches for the MST movement. The trajectories presented in this paper pervates the dreams, ideals, life projects, sense of belonging and that are enrolled in a collective arena of the fights about the land, that is also subjectivelly significants.
