Resumo: | In recent decades, sexual violence against women has acquired greater social and political visibility. This is due to the recognition and implementation of specialized public policy and services in care for women in situations of violence. The Brazilian Penal Code allows abortion for cases of rape arising pregnancy. However, even that the permission is guaranteed by law and ratified in ministerial standards, its procedure is slow, since that the health professional can use of the “objection consciousness”, because of their moral or religious beliefs. The aim is to problematize the itinerary of victims of sexual violence in search of legal abortion Dr. José Pedro Bezerra Hospital - Santa Catarina Maternity - located in the capital of Potiguar, Brazil, from the representations of the health professors, trying to analyze the uses and misuse of the objection consciousness cases of legal abortion within this maternity hospital, seeking to weave reflections on how negotiations take place during an investigation into the recognition of citizenship and access to procedural law. The research is a qualitative approach, using observation and semi-structured interviews. |
