Resumo:This study aimed to know and analyze the insertion in the labor market, as well as the conditions and labor relations of graduates from higher education in technology of Campus Natal-Central of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) in the contemporary context of institutional expansion and higher education in Brazil, structural work precariousness and densification of the precariat. The research was based on a critical perspective that aims to grasp the research subject by social-historical determinations of the society of capital in times of crisis. From a methodological point of view, it constitutes a qualitative and quantitative research working with secondary and primary data; the latter coming from semi-structured interviews. The analysis of the results allowed us to identify the reports of the graduates their profiles, explaining inherent characteristics of the category "precariat" and revealing the IFRN action limits, that despite institutional claims to the contrary, has acted as a densification vector of this portion of the working class in the present historical time. The study also revealed important elements of both the training and post-graduation processes that may be considered by the Institute in the adaptation of curricula, organization and articulation of students / professionals and monitoring process of graduates in order to promote better conditions for its students/graduates employability.
