Resumo:Community based tourism experiences are emerging all over the world and are characterized by being a tourism organization model located in the axis alternative to the conventional, which has as main key the community organization and participation in planning, management and development of tourism. These initiatives seek as mechanisms of strengthening to build networks. This work, therefore, has as main objective to analyze the relations between the actors involved with the development of tourism in the Cearense Network of Community Tourism (Tucum Network). For this purpose, it relies on the network understanding of authors like Capra (2002); Castells (2013); Rovere (1999); and Tolkach, King & Pearlman (2013). An exploratory study was carried out through literature, documentary and field research in four communities participants of the network. The method of approach was qualitative and the data were analyzed using content analysis. The results indicated that the relations between the various points of the network is given by the existence of communication processes established through common links as the struggle for territory, the affirmation of their identity and the development of community tourism. It was noted, however, that the process of collaboration between the participating initiatives is weakened, mainly, due to barriers in this process of communication and to the lack of resources faced by the network and the communities.
