Resumo:The Portuguese language teaching has become the most urgent difficulty to be mastered/overcome within the school educational action. This observation, it is clear by the large number of students from high school who have shown serious problems when dealing with reading and writing. The facts exposed appear as a symptom of a teaching, which is more committed to the standardized contents in the institutionalized curriculum than with the building of a bridge between contents worked and life experience. Without which, there will be no effective learning. Before these difficulties, we have sat up as a goal to propose the literary reading of poems and short stories, making this way, the articulation of linguistic and literary knowledge much easier as an attempt to bring the learner closer of the richness that arises from the mentioned texts by giving them opportunities to minimize the limitations of writing well. Our investigation, sets up as a research-action, in which, we seek from a pedagogical intervention to develop written activities from the standard norm language perspective linked to the reading of literary works. To the achievement of the investigative purpose we were supported by authors from Portuguese and literature areas, such as : Cosson ( 2006), Flôres ( 2001), Kato ( 1995), Kleiman ( 1995), Matênio ( 1998), Antunes ( 2003, 2011), Figueiredo ( 2005), Koch and Elias ( 2010), Azevedo ( 2012) Passarelli ( 2004), Schneuwly and Dolz ( 2004), among others. The outcomes showed that the pedagogical actions applied to develop student’s written competence from the reading of literary genres texts have shown quite significant since it has helped the learning of the writing in the standard language mode.
