Resumo:This work will discuss about Herbert Paul Grice‟s vision relatively to the Language and the humane communicaton processing. Grice‟s theory it is important, because it is pioneer in such proposition that concerns to the separation between natural meaning and the non natural meaning. In his approaching, the natural meaning tracts of a natural conection among facts and the non natural meaning of conventions that associate facts without natural relations among themselves, being this last one what possibilites the humane communication. According to Grice‟s theory there are four types of non natural meaning, as to know: timeless meaning, the timeless applied meaning, the occasion-meaning and the utterer‟s meaning. Grice is more known by his definition about the utterer‟s meaning, that had raised so much interesting in the scope of the language Philosophy. In our research, we had identified that anyother author approaches something about the theory of the conversational implicatures relating it with the four layers of non natural meaning identified by the author. This fact had influenced in the modus as the conversational implicatures were analised until now. Once said that, our intention here is to show that the conversations implicatures are an analyse of what Grice names of occasion- meaning. When performing this work we will be contributing to clerify the gricean thought as a coherent whole, to which the author by himself would refer as “a most amplified project”, demonstrating that these notions are not isolated, but parts of the same approaching of the humane communication processing. Finally, to identify the implicatures as the occasion-meaning, we will present how the divisions of the layers of the meaning done by the author can help to explain the distnctions between semantics and pragmatic.
