Resumo:This paper is a research about the transmedia strategies used in sports broadcasts promoted by Esporte Interativo, television station ever created in media convergence period and making use of resources previously not customary for this type of programming. For this, the research has the theoretical support of many authors who are considered references in the area and their concepts about transmedia storytelling, convergence, participatory culture, interaction and interactivity that guide research towards justification and exemplification of the topics covered. This deepening is necessary in order to reach one of the central arguments of the paper that is the approach on transmedia strategies, configuring itself as a kind of transmedia narrative that does not lose focus on the main content. Thus, the paper is intended to discover these transmedia strategies in the Copa do Nordeste broadcasts displayed by Esporte Interativo, which the station's content spread to various media and participatory culture are elements used for a closer contact with the fans. To reach this questioning, the paper also brings the historical and conceptual development of sports broadcasting in Brazil, illustrating from the radio schools to the current and also tells some of the history of the station to be analyzed, the TV Esporte Interativo. The Dissertation also presents an analysis with and main feature of the participatory culture of the fan driven by the media in the Copa do Nordeste, exclusive competition of the Esporte Interativo mostly in Brazil, thus having a breakdown on this most dynamic sports broadcasting, in which you can comment, opinion and have fun from the transmedia content. Thus, for a better understanding of the research, the observations were divided into three chapters added an initial part of methodological nature and interviews attachments with professional broadcaster and working directly with the transmedia practice.
