Crynodeb:In this work we investigate the e ect of a BCS-type pairing for free spinless fermions, in 1+1 dimension. Using bosonization techniques we test the existence of quasiparticle modes in the resulting BCS like superconducting state. We calculate the single particle Green's function, the pair correlation function, the spectral function and the optical conductivity and we show how they di er from their conventional quasiparticle analogues. We compare our results with the related experimental ndings for high temperature superconductors and we show that they t qualitatively well the observed quasiparticles modes in those materials.
