Resumo:Turnover is the flow of inputs and outputs constant employees in a company. This movement is a phenomenon that has been the subject of research, since that turnover is not interesting for companies. Thus, the aim of this study is to identify the causes turnover of employees in accounting firms. To achieve this goal was held a multiple case study with the managers and employees of some accounting offices located in the city of Caxias do Sul-RS. A descriptive study was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The main results indicate that there is a need in the review in the form of compensation of employees as well as the analysis of new strategies for the motivational conditions of the working environment.
