Issues like perception, presence, space and temporality are complex concepts that make other arrangements with the context of Networked Art. In light of studies of Cognitive Sciences, this paper will argue for the embodiment of the remote body positioning itself against the discourses of post-human, the desembodiment or dematerialization of the body in the digital age. The reflections are of a theoretical and practical study, developed in large part, with the Research Group Technological Poetics, with which I created the first Telematics Dance held in Brazil in advanced telecommunications networks in 2005 (www.poeticatecnologica.ufba.br).Keywords: dance, embodiment, telematic.
