Este artículo se basa en reflexiones sobre el proceso de aplicación de la Base Curricular Nacional Común (BNCC). Para ello, el texto se organiza en cuatro partes. La primera presenta las leyes que guían la construcción del BNCC y su proceso de desarrollo. La segunda presenta la organización y los fundamentos pedagógicos. La tercera presenta el componente curricular de Arte y el lugar del arte en el currículo. La última parte destaca los retos y paradigmas de la aplicación de este documento. Cet article est basé sur des réflexions concernant le processus de mise en œuvre du socle commun des programmes scolaires (BNCC). Pour ce faire, le texte est organisé en quatre parties. La première présente les lois qui guident la construction du BNCC et son processus d'élaboration. La seconde présente l'organisation et les fondements pédagogiques. La troisième présente la composante du programme d'études en art et la place de l'art dans le programme d'études. La dernière partie met en lumière les défis et les paradigmes de la mise en œuvre de ce document. Este artigo parte de reflexões sobre o processo de implementação da  Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). Para tanto, esse texto está organizado em quatro partes. A primeira apresenta as leis que balizam a construção da Base e seus percursos de elaboração. A segunda faz uma exposição sobre a organização e fundamentos pedagógicos. A terceira apresenta o componente curricular Arte e o espaço da arte no currículo. A última parte destaca os desafios e paradigmas da implementação desse documento.
