Resumo:This article is based on thoughts about the process of implementation of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC). To this end, this text is organized into four parts. The first presents the laws that underpin the construction of the Base and its elaboration pathways. The second part exposes the organization and pedagogical foundations. The third part presents the curricular component Art and the space for art in the curriculum. The last part highlights the challenges and paradigms of the implementation of this document.
