Secondarily, the principles present in the 1988 Federal Constitution are analyzed in order to understand them. Finally, the conclusion is that the principles are one of the most effective ways of implementing the Democratic Rule of Law. To carry out the research, the deductive method was used, with a qualitative nature, and with bibliographic and historical research (using as sources: books, scientific articles, case law and others).

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo comprender los principios constitucionales desde la perspectiva de la implementación del Estado Democrático de Derecho en el ámbito del Estado brasileño. Inicialmente se estudia la historia del Estado brasileño, desde el Brasil Imperio hasta el Estado actual, pasando por repúblicas y dictaduras. En segundo lugar, se analizan los principios presentes en la Constitución Federal de 1988 para comprenderlos. Finalmente, la conclusión es que los principios son una de las formas más efectivas de implementar el Estado Democrático de Derecho. Para realizar la investigación se utilizó el método deductivo, de carácter cualitativo, y con investigación bibliográfica e histórica (utilizando como fuentes: libros, artículos científicos, jurisprudencia y más). La présente étude vise à comprendre les principes constitutionnels dans la perspective de la mise en œuvre de l'État de droit démocratique dans le cadre de l'État brésilien. Dans un premier temps, l'histoire de l'État brésilien est étudiée, depuis l'Empire du Brésil jusqu'à l'État actuel, en passant par les républiques et les dictatures. Deuxièmement, les principes présents dans la Constitution fédérale de 1988 sont analysés afin de les comprendre. Enfin, la conclusion est que ces principes constituent l’un des moyens les plus efficaces de mettre en œuvre l’État de droit démocratique. Pour mener à bien la recherche, la méthode déductive a été utilisée, à caractère qualitatif, et avec des recherches bibliographiques et historiques (en utilisant comme sources : livres, articles scientifiques, jurisprudence, etc.). O presente estudo tem como intuito entender os princípios constitucionais sob a perspectiva da efetivação do Estado Democrático de Direito no âmbito do Estado brasileiro. De forma inicial, estuda-se a história do Estado brasileiro, desde o Brasil Império até o Estado atual, passando por república e ditaduras. De forma secundária, analisa-se os princípios presentes na Constituição Federal de 1988, de forma a compreendê-los. Finalmente, realiza-se a conclusão de que os princípios são uma das formas mais eficazes de efetivar o Estado Democrático de Direito. Para a realização da pesquisa, foi utilizado o método dedutivo, com natureza qualitativa, e com uma pesquisa bibliográfica e histórica (utilizando como fontes: livros, artigos científicos, jurisprudências e mais).
