Resumo:An essential part of promoting Open Science involves collaborative work, both in defining guidelines and disseminating these practices. Among the constituent pillars of Open Science, we have digital repositories, which are initially established for sharing peer-reviewed publications and research data. This work aims to recognize the contributions of the Brazilian Network of Digital Repositories (RBRD) to collaboration in the creation and sustainability of repositories in Brazil. To do this, documentary research and qualitative analysis were employed as methodological strategies. By mapping and detailing the actions carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (Ibict) to promote and adopt the principles of Open Science in Brazil, it was found that the Institute has engaged partner institutions to carry out effective collaborative work in Brazil, towards the formation and strengthening of the sub-networks (Center-West, Northeast, North, South, and Southeast) of RBRD.
