The school, as an institution that exercises control over bodies through disciplinarization, must be aware of these issues and promote equal opportunities for the most diverse students. From this perspective, this article aims to analyze the discourse produced in the Curricular Reference of Potiguar High School, regarding the theme of gender and sexuality, as one of the Transversal Contemporary Themes, relating the power relations in the construction of the meanings and wills of true. For that, we use Discourse Analysis as a theoretical support from Foucault's studies (1988, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2008). This is a qualitative descriptive-interpretative work. We used the archeogenological method for discourse analysis, which has as corpus statements extracted from the Potiguar High School Curriculum Reference, a normative document that guides the didactic-pedagogical praxis, formulated from the High School reform. The analysis allowed us to verify that the theme emerges in the Transversal Contemporary Themes of the document as strategies of biopower and regulation of themes that involve sexuality in the school context.   Keywords: Gender. Sexuality. Power relations. High School Potiguar. A temática do gênero e sexualidade se mostra cada vez mais relevante, considerando o fortalecimento dos espaços de luta e resistência na atualidade. A escola, enquanto instituição que exerce controle sobre os corpos através da disciplinarização, deve estar atenta à essas questões e promover oportunidades iguais para os mais diversos estudantes. Sob essa perspectiva, este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o discurso produzido no Referencial Curricular do Ensino Médio Potiguar, no tocante à temática do gênero e sexualidade, como um dos Temas Contemporâneos Transversais, relacionando as relações de poder na construção dos sentidos e das vontades de verdade. Para tanto, utilizamos a Análise do Discurso como aporte teórico a partir dos estudos de Foucault (1988, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2008). Trata-se de um trabalho descritivo-interpretativo de caráter qualitativo. Usamos o método arqueogenelógico para análise do discurso que tem como corpus enunciados extraídos do Referencial Curricular do Ensino Médio Potiguar, documento normativo que orienta a práxis didático-pedagógica, formulado a partir da reforma do Ensino Médio. A análise nos permitiu constatar que a temática emerge nos Temas Contemporâneos Transversais do documento como estratégias de biopoder e regulamentação dos temas que envolvem à sexualidade no contexto escolar.   Palavras-chave: Gênero.
