To this end, we intend to undertake the analysis of the representation of feminicide in three literary works by contemporary authors: Ponciá Vicêncio, by Conceição Evaristo; Black Romance with Argentines, by Luisa Valenzuela; and Never Fire Never, by Diamela Eltit. A critical reading of the works demonstrates that the violence exerted on the female body since the conquest process has decisively affected the marks of a pedagogy of cruelty (Segato, 2018) that reverberates in the reproduction of gender violence in the socio-cultural context of Latin America. The work has theoretical support from decolonial political feminisms (Vergès, 2020) and indicates that Latin American women's literature acts as a possible form of counter-pedagogy of cruelty, in the form of denunciation or protest. O presente artigo visa a discutir, a partir da crítica decolonial, as marcas da violência patriarcal legadas pelo processo colonial como uma constante em obras de escritoras latino-americanas. Para tanto, pretende-se empreender a análise da representação do feminicídio em três obras literárias de autoras contemporâneas: Ponciá Vicêncio, de Conceição Evaristo; Romance Negro com Argentinos, de Luisa Valenzuela; e Jamais o Fogo Nunca, de Diamela Eltit. A leitura crítica das obras demonstra que a violência exercida sobre o corpo feminino desde o processo de conquista incidiu determinantemente em marcas de uma pedagogia da crueldade (Segato, 2018) que reverbera na reprodução da violência de gênero no contexto sociocultural da América Latina. O trabalho conta com suporte teórico dos feminismos de política decolonial (Vergès, 2020) e indica que a literatura de mulheres latino-americanas atua como forma possível de contra-pedagogia da crueldade, na forma de denúncia ou protesto.
