| Resumo: | This article aims to propose a geotouristic route for the municipality of Pedro II, northeast of the state of Piauí, as a means of dissemination and geoconservation of places with relevant geodiversity in terms of geological, geomorphological and water characteristics. As methodological steps were carried out: survey and analysis of the theoretical framework; office work; field analyzes and application of an inventory sheet. Five geomorphosites were identified and characterized and a geotouristic route map was later prepared. Considering the potential of the geomorphosites located in the northern portion of Pedro II and the current state of the access trails to them, it is recommended that the public authorities implement infrastructure with a view to exploiting them in a sustainable manner, favoring the generation income. |
