In this context, the objective of this manuscript is to analyze geotourism in the spatial and territorial context of GeoPark Araripe, approaching the geography of the activity, the verified limitations and its potentialities. The research developed is of a qualitative nature, based on the concepts present in the title and keywords, developed in stages of office, field and laboratory. As a result, thematic maps were elaborated, spatializing important elements of geotourism in the study area, description of geosites with field information, in addition to the debate on regional (geo)touristic limitations and potentialities and, finally, the presentation of proposals for 3 routes tourist. It is expected to contribute to the growth and quality of geotourism carried out in GeoPark Araripe.

El geoturismo, segmento del turismo sostenible, se presenta como una alternativa promisoria para el desarrollo sostenible asociado al geopatrimonio, encontrando en los territorios de los geoparques las condiciones idóneas para desarrollarse. En ese contexto, el objetivo de este manuscrito es analizar el geoturismo en el contexto espacial y territorial del GeoPark Araripe, abordando la geografía de la actividad, las limitaciones verificadas y sus potencialidades. La investigación desarrollada es de carácter cualitativo, a partir de los conceptos presentes en el título y palabras clave, desarrollada en etapas de gabinete, campo y laboratorio. Como resultado se elaboraron mapas temáticos, espacializando elementos importantes del geoturismo en el área de estudio, descripción de los geositios con información de campo, además del debate sobre las limitaciones y potencialidades (geo)turísticas regionales y, finalmente, la presentación de propuestas. para 3 rutas turisticas. Se espera contribuir al crecimiento y calidad del geoturismo que se realiza en GeoPark Araripe. O geoturismo, segmento do turismo sustentável, se apresenta com uma promissora alternativa de desenvolvimento sustentável associada ao geopatrimônio, encontrando nos territórios de geoparques as condições ideais para ser desenvolvido. Nesse contexto, o objetivo desse manuscrito é analisar o geoturismo no contexto espacial e territorial do GeoPark Araripe, abordando a geografia da atividade, as limitações verificadas e suas potencialidades.
