Resumo:This academic work “O grito mudo: silenciamento e violência contra a mulher em “O peso do pássaro morto” is an initial analysis of some scenes of violence in the inaugural book from Aline Bei, a young writer from São Paulo who released her first book, O peso do pássaro morto, in 2017, by the independent publisher "Nós". Bei has flee from the traditional form intended for novels, his transgression begins in stylistics. In this academic wrok will be read some scenes from the book O peso do pássaro morto and it will be pointed out how the writer works with the themes of mourning, violence and melancholy in her novel. In this work, was use the studies from Heleith Saffioti about Gênero, patriarcado e violência (2005), Pierre Bourdieu's notes in Dominação masculina (2021), the inferences of Gayatri Spivak, in Pode o subalterno falar? (2014), the speech Sejamos todos feministas by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche (2015), in addition to research by other scholars on the subject.
