The letters were published in Amor mais que maiúsculo, by the editors of Companhia das Letras, in 2022. Reflections will be made on literary sources and archives that made the publication of the book possible, as well as a conceptual discussion about the concept of correspondence, autobiography, and contemporary Self Writing. Also, the text will look at letters as historical documents and paratexts. For this to happen, the authors André Luiz Anselm (2015), Philippe Artières (2013), Leonor Arfuch (2010), Michel Foucault (1992), Regina Kohlrausch (2015), and Philippe Lejeune (2014), among others, will be used. As a result, the letters are seen as an attempt to remember a love that is about to end. Furthermore, the presence of the Brazil-England relationship and foreign expressions in the correspondence transform them into a paratext for the César's scholars.
