| Resumo: | Scientific development becomes increasingly important to society, and should be encouraged from basic education, so that students grow up with the ability to think critically about the multiple issues of day-to-day life. An alternative to awaken the importance of initiation and scientific education since basic education is science fairs. Thus, the present study sought to research in the literature on how scientific fairs can help in scientific development in basic education. We chose to conduct an integrative literature review. It was possible to observe that the science fairs prepare students to think more autonomously, critically and creatively about the process of knowledge construction, in the multiple areas of science, in addition to developing skills to seek, organize, analyze and expose results. |
