Believing in the potential and possibilities of research from the artistic creation, the methodology adopted comes from the Artistic Research. Questions that arise from the movements that originated the song were discussed. After that, it was possible to think about an affiliation between the research object and the music of the “neighbors” Argentina and Uruguay, that is, the presence of elements of a “Platina sonority”. For the second part the dialogue between the song analyzed and the poem Martin Fierro by José Hernández is explored and is also what ignites the dialogue between Brazilian popular music and Literature. Lastly, results are presented bearing in mind the methodology adopted, showing a relation between the song and guitarristic elements and the presence of a “Platina literature” in the composition here discussed.
