Resumo:During 2021, together with Ruanna and three other interlocutors, I carried out a master's degree in Anthropology at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), a research project aimed at understanding the experiences of women living in the city of João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba/Brazil, of falling ill with Covid-19. I sought to understand how Covid-19 illness is experienced, signified and reflected on by women, from their narratives, with the support of Health Anthropology and Visual Anthropology. In the context of this research, which focused on illness and life in the midst of the pandemic, a set of images was created. The focus of the aforementioned research, and therefore of this photographic essay, refers to the Covid-19 experienced and also to a public experience around Covid-19.
