The use of fire, candle and black and white colors work as residual elements, which express mourning, sacrifice and celebration. Surrounded by a series of everyday insurgencies, the essay also seeks to demonstrate that the social place of the body and the idea of ​​finitude can, depending on the situation and its uses, be disposable notions. The essay ends with a reflection on ancestry, with a view to highlighting a language of the unfinished, of what it teaches us about the continuity of life/death and its symbolism. Cuerpo (in)finito? es un ensayo visual que busca retratar la dimensión material y simbólica de la vida y la muerte, entendiendo que ambas son rituales que expresan límites y expansiones extracorporales. El uso del fuego, la vela y los colores blanco y negro funcionan como elementos residuales, que expresan luto, sacrificio y celebración. Rodeado de una serie de insurgencias cotidianas, el ensayo también busca demostrar que el lugar social del cuerpo y la idea de finitud pueden, según la situación y sus usos, ser nociones desechables. El ensayo termina con una reflexión sobre la ascendencia, con miras a resaltar un lenguaje de lo inacabado, de lo que nos enseña sobre la continuidad de la vida/muerte y su simbolismo. Corpo (in)finito? é um ensaio visual que busca retratar a dimensão material e simbólica da vida e da morte, compreendendo que ambas são rituais que expressam limites e expansões extracorpóreas. O uso do fogo, da vela e das cores preto e branco funcionam como elementos residuais que expressam luto, sacrifício e celebração. Rodeado por uma série de insurgências do cotidiano, o ensaio também busca demonstrar que o lugar social do corpo e da ideia de finitude podem, a depender da situação e dos seus usos, ser noções descartáveis. O ensaio encerra com uma reflexão sobre ancestralidade, com vistas a evidenciar uma linguagem do inacabado, daquilo que nos ensina sobre a continuidade da vida/morte e de seus simbolismos.
