The purpose is to show the continuation of the previous photographic essay published in the magazine R@U – UFSCAR’s anthropological magazine, on the ethnographic experience in the meaning of the process of visiting the dead as a form of remembrance and activism of memory, paying attention to the social and economic processes in around that day in times of social distancing, on the second day of the dead in Brazil in 2021 in the presence of covid-19 and a scenario of the “new normal”. In this second essay I seek to bring the colors of the images as a methodological form of the first gray year and in the second year with more hope, the colors were narratives of the interlocutors themselves, highlighting that the cemetery was coming to life, even though it was a space of death, or to The deads. It is about problematizing the contemporary processes about visiting on the day of the dead, with the loosening of biosecurity measures and the masks gradually being removed, but in this new context it has not ceased to be an accessory with the flower and candles market. The photographs reflect the cemetery as a significant space in the understanding of a social organization, the colors as a system of resistance, a fundamental part of a culture, and also as a witness to the history of a society that lives the collective and individual experience of visiting its dead with restrictions and limited social support in the interaction process, but in this second year, more social agents were noticeable in the ritual. In this way, the perception of the social dynamics that involves the cemetery with its sociocultural practices is associated with the historical context experienced, and of extreme relevance the mourners use the cemetery as a process of ritualization, affection and memory, and the relationships built between individuals helped to understand the space of the cemetery not only as a place of death, but mainly as a space of life, social activity with the “workers of the dead”, memory and interactional symbolic continuity, where the mourners resist in strengthening their cultural practices even with all forms of the scenario of a return to the solitude of experiencing this day that is celebrated.

El ensayo fotográfico aborda el tema del día de los muertos en su contexto ritual de pandemia en la ciudad de João Pessoa, Paraíba, más precisamente en el cementerio Senhor da Boa Sentença, ubicado en el barrio de Varadouro. El objetivo es mostrar la continuación del ensayo fotográfico anterior publicado en la revista R@U – revista antropológica de la UFSCAR, sobre la experiencia etnográfica en el sentido del proceso de visita a los muertos como forma de rememoración y activismo de la memoria, prestando atención a los procesos sociales y económicos en torno a ese día en tiempos de distanciamiento social, en el segundo día de muertos en Brasil en 2021 ante la presencia del covid-19 y un escenario de la “nueva normalidad”. Nesse segundo ensaio busco trazer as cores das imagens como forma metodológica do primeiro ano cinza e no segundo ano com mais esperança, as cores foram narrativas dos próprios interlocutores, ao destacar que o cemitério estava ganhando vida, mesmo sendo um espaço de morte, ou para los muertos. Se trata de problematizar los procesos contemporáneos sobre la visita al día de muertos, con el relajamiento de las medidas de bioseguridad y el retiro paulatino de las mascarillas, pero en este nuevo contexto no ha dejado de ser un accesorio con el mercado de flores y velas. Las fotografías reflejan el cementerio como espacio significativo en la comprensión de una organización social, los colores como sistema de resistencia, parte fundamental de una cultura, y también como testigo de la historia de una sociedad que vive la experiencia colectiva e individual. de visitar a sus muertos con restricciones y limitado apoyo social en el proceso de interacción, pero en este segundo año se notaron más agentes sociales en el ritual. A finalidade é mostrar a continuação do ensaio fotográfico anterior publicado na revista R@U – revista antropológica da UFSCAR, sobre a experiência etnográfica no significado do processo de visitar os mortos como forma de lembrança e ativismo da memória, atentando aos processos sociais e econômicos em torno desse dia em tempos de distanciamento social, no segundo dia dos mortos no Brasil em 2021 na presença da covid-19 e um cenário do “novo normal”. Nesse segundo ensaio busco trazer as cores das imagens como forma metodológica do primeiro ano cinza e no segundo ano com mais esperança, as cores foram narrativas dos próprios interlocutores, ao destacar que o cemitério estava ganhando vida, mesmo sendo um espaço de morte, ou para os mortos. Trata-se de problematizar os processos da contemporaneidade sobre o visitar no dia dos mortos, com o afrouxamento das medidas de biossegurança e as máscaras aos poucos sendo retirada, porém nesse novo contexto não deixou de ser um acessório junto ao mercado das flores e velas. As fotografias refletem o cemitério como espaço significativo no entendimento de uma organização social, as cores como um sistema de resistência parte fundamental de uma cultura, e ainda como testemunha da história de uma sociedade que vive a experiência coletiva e individual de visitar os seus mortos com restrições e apoio social limitado no processo de interação, porém nesse segundo ano foi perceptível mais agentes sociais no ritual. Dessa forma, a percepção da dinâmica social que envolve o cemitério com suas práticas socioculturais está associada ao contexto histórico vivenciado, e de extrema relevância dos enlutados usa o cemitério como um processo de ritualização, afeto e memória, e as relações construídas entre os indivíduos ajudaram a compreender o espaço do cemitério não apenas como lugar de morte, mas, principalmente, como espaço de vida, atividade social com os “trabalhadores dos mortos”, memória e continuidade simbólica interacional, onde os enlutados resistem no fortalecimento de suas práticas culturais mesmo com todas as formas do cenário de um retorno da solidão de vivenciar esse dia que é celebrado.
