Resumo: | Review of the book Body threshold and crossroads – Process of creation in dance, by Renata Lima da Silva. The book is the result of the doctoral thesis defended at the Graduate Program in Arts at State University of Campinas, UNICAMP. The work discusses the body, movement, and culture to think about contemporary Brazilian Dance. Artistic experiences, field experiences and personal history are merged in the course of the work that is crossed by the character of José Firmino. The ways of doing contemporary dance are approached from the perspective of the matrices of popular culture experienced by the author. |
