description This article deals with the relationship between trans people, and other transmaculinities, and their families at the moment of revelation to the family of their identities. The article is based on life narratives of five interlocutors who lived in the city of Salvador, in Bahia, between the years of 2013 and 2018, between 18 and 28 years of age, and is built based on life experience stories as well as in in-depth interviews. At a certain point in their lives, they assume a transmasculine identity and, once in a while, negotiate with their families this new gender identity. Less than a problematic revelation, the narratives show that the family group is involved in a new type of relationship agency; Now there is no sense of acting for the sexual re-registration of the subject in the family group from the reconfirmation of their new gender identification, now reaffirming the assigned gender at birth. This article seeks to reflect on the life trajectories of trans men, and other transmasculinities, and their relationships with the family group.
