In the corpus analysis, composed by five tweets, we are interested in finding out in which ways the thread relates to preconstructed notions about the speech and voice of black women. To this, we will address the notions of imaginary and ideological formations, according to Pêcheux, ideology and unconscious, according to Orlandi, and controlling images, according to Collins. It is observed that anticipations based on the podcaster’s voice and speech result in imaginary formations that are related with controlling images about black women. Este trabalho surge do encontro com um fio de tweets (funcionamento na rede social digital Twitter) que expõe a formação de um imaginário sobre o sujeito podcaster pelos seus ouvintes. Pela análise do corpus, composto pelos tweets que compõem o fio, interessa-nos indagar como a formulação do fio e os comentários dos ouvintes se relacionam com pré-construídos a respeito de mulheres negras. Na busca de possíveis respostas para uma pergunta feita pela podcaster no fio, indagando por que é tão difícil associar a sua imagem (a de uma mulher negra) com a de uma contadora de histórias, mobilizaremos as noções de formações ideológicas e imaginárias, conforme Pêcheux (2009, 2014), a noção de ideologia, conforme pensada por Orlandi (2017), e de imagens de controle, conforme Collins (2019) e Gonzalez (2018). Observamos que antecipações feitas com base na voz e na fala da podcaster resultam em formações imaginárias que podem estar relacionadas com imagens de controle a respeito das mulheres negras.
