In addition to this framework, other concepts of Cognitive Semantics will be taken: image schemas, domains, frames and mental spaces, among other notions linked to the construction of meaning. The meme selected for analysis was posted on a WhatsApp chat group and on a Gym’s Facebook page. It is believed that this analysis can show how the relationship between conceptual integration and metaphors in levels can describe the inferences recruited in the conceptualization of the meme. Analisa-se um meme sobre consumo de vinho, à luz das teorias da integração conceptual (FAUCONNIER; TURNER, 2002) e da metáfora conceptual estendida (KÖVECSES, 2020), com objetivo de evidenciar a adequação dessas ferramentas teóricas ao estudo de produções multimodais. Além desse arcabouço, outros conceitos da Semântica Cognitiva serão tomados: esquemas imagéticos, domínios, frames e espaços mentais, entre outras noções ligadas à construção de sentido. O meme selecionado para análise foi postado em um grupo de conversa do WhatsApp e em uma página de academia de ginástica do Facebook. Assim, no que tange ao seu objetivo geral, este trabalho pode ser considerado descritivo-exploratório, porque envolve a busca de relações entre os conceitos em que a análise do meme foi baseada, de modo a evidenciar como a relação entre integração conceptual e metáforas em níveis podem descrever as inferências recrutadas na conceptualização proposta.
