spelling oai:periodicos.ufrn.br:article-296372022-11-28T03:56:26Z The Warburg Library and the Artist's Library: A Possible Development A Biblioteca Warburg e a biblioteca de artista: um possível desdobramento Gomes Penido, Adriana Kulturwissenschafltiche Bibliothek Warburg Aby Warburg Word Atlas Mnemosyne Artist Library Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg Aby Waburg Palavra Atlas Mnemosyne Biblioteca de artista From the mid-1980s onwards, interest in Aby Warburg's work has resumed, with the appearance of several studies on the Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg (KBW) and the Atlas Mnemosyne. During this period, it was detected, in the field of visual arts, the emergence of numerous works that use the Library as an artistic support. Provisionally called artist libraries, the term describes the library as a space for poetic construction and the productions of artists whose support is the library space, whether this is a real or fictional. This reflection seeks to understand the possible relationships between KBW and artist libraries. Works by Cláudio Parmigiani (Untitled, 2009) and Leila Danzinger´s Ato e Fato and Tevye, the milkman (from Série ASA, 2018), as well as Bildung (2014) will be analyzed within the described frame. Nota-se, a partir de meados dos anos de 1980, a retomada do interesse pela obra de Aby Warburg, com o aparecimento de diversos estudos em torno da Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg (KBW) e do Atlas Mnemosyne. Nesse período foi detectado, no campo das artes visuais, o surgimento de inúmeras obras que utilizam-se da biblioteca como um suporte artístico. Provisoriamente denominadas bibliotecas de artista, o termo descreve a biblioteca como um espaço de construção poética e as produções de artistas cujo suporte é o espaço da biblioteca, seja esse um espaço real ou ficcional. Essa reflexão busca compreender as possíveis relações entre a KBW e as bibliotecas de artista. Serão apresentadas obras de Cláudio Parmigiani (Sem título, 2009) e Leila Danzinger, intituladas Ato e Fato e Tevye, o leiteiro (da Série A.S.A., 2018), e Bildung (2014).
