In this direction, this text consists of an account of the practice of a teacher of a group of five-year-old children, from the Academic Unit of Early Childhood Education/UAEI, from the Federal University of Campina Grande/UFCG, regarding proposals that consider the child's role in their learning process during remote teaching. To this end, we used the pedagogy of projects that supported the Football thematic project, which emerged from the children themselves, thus arousing greater interest in them to participate in synchronous meetings. We show that, if, on the one hand, technological tools, in particular, the internet, through computers and cell phones, constitute a possibility for the provision of the child's right to Early Childhood Education, on the other hand, this teaching method reveals challenges, by imposing limits to interactions and play between child-child and adult-child. O desenvolvimento de propostas pedagógicas na etapa da Educação Infantil que considerem a criança como sujeito integral e protagonista do seu processo de aprendizagem é um desafio, sobretudo, no modo de ensino remoto, necessário, em virtude do período pandêmico da COVID-19. Nesta direção, esse texto constitui-se de um relato de prática de uma professora de um grupo de crianças de cinco anos de idade, da Unidade Acadêmica de Educação Infantil/UAEI, da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande/UFCG, a respeito de propostas que considerem o protagonismo da criança no seu processo de aprendizagem durante o ensino remoto. Para tal, nos valemos da pedagogia de projetos que subsidiou o projeto de temática Futebol, que emergiu das próprias crianças, suscitando assim, maior interesse delas para participar dos encontros síncronos. Evidenciamos que, se por um lado, ferramentas tecnológicas, em especial, a internet, por meio de computadores e celulares, constitui possibilidade para a oferta do direito da criança à Educação Infantil, por outro lado, esse modo de ensino revela desafios, por impor limites às interações e brincadeiras entre criança-criança e adulto-criança.
