Resumo:Aiming to call into question the Modern Western scientific paradigm, this text presents another anthropological approach based on the observation method inspired by ethology and the dialogue with biology. This method makes it possible to think about the human constitution through a non-disjunctive prism, but understanding man from the multiple dimensions that constitute him: biological, social, cultural and psychological. Therefore, the theoretical reflections of the following authors were borrowed: Almeida (2010), Cyrulnik (1993), Lévi-Strauss (1982), António Damásio (2008), Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela (1997) and Sigmund Freud (2016 ) . Such anthropology brings with it an epistemological proposal based on an ecology of knowledge (Almeida, 2010), understood as a cognitive strategy aimed at bringing together traditional knowledge and scientific knowledge. Consequently, bringing other interpretations to culture, humanity and society.
