In this way, the review walks through the enchanted routes that the reading of the book Lugares de Origem, by Ailton Krenak and Yussef Campos, offers and presents its singularity to those who do it. Both the reading and the review place us at a crossroads, where we apprehend the horizons of meaning that the authors trace and the deviations to meet aspects, in our view, vital and that need to be externalized. The issues and conflicts of culture, cultural heritage, memory and the rights of native peoples are part of the discussion of Places of Origin. A resenha caminha pelas rotas encantadas do livro Lugares de Origem (2021) de Ailton Krenak e Yussef Campos, que ofertam suas análises singulares quanto à questão do patrimônio cultural no Brasil. A relação com a obra estabeleceu-se por identificação política, filosófica, estética e poética, isto é, pelas reflexões potentes do texto. Tanto a leitura da obra quanto a resenha nos coloca em uma encruzilhada, na qual apreendemos os horizontes que constituíram, no episódio da Constituinte de 1988, as definições de patrimônio cultural e sua relação com lugar-território, a nosso ver, essenciais, e que precisam ser externalizados. As questões e conflitos da cultura, do patrimônio cultural, da memória e dos direitos dos povos originários fazem parte da discussão de Lugares de Origem.
