O artigo tem como objetivo analisar a trajetória de três artistas de dança negros buscando compreender como os marcadores sociais de classe, raça e gênero tem operado na constituição de suas carreiras, favorecendo ou desfavorecendo mobilidade social e profissional. Apresenta uma leitura do conceito de interseccionalidade a partir da obra da intelectual negra Lélia Gonzalez, tecendo relações com pesquisas em dança na busca de uma práxis decolonial.
