Such dislocations foster the comprehension of the way the identities of women of color are configured after being subjected, voluntarily or not, to geographical dislocations that, as consequence, promote their knowledge and recognition as modern world women. Therefore, this study provides a comparative study among the literary craft of the writers aiming to examine how Alvarez, Adichie and Evaristo handle their diasporic condition and reflect associated concepts related to it, such as gender, identification, and ethnic-racial questions. Thus, the positioning of these writers is examined according to their diasporic condition, as well as investigate their identification as women of color, along with their condition as dislocated women.
