The present study aims to describe the advances and challenges in the management and implementation of the Stork Network (RC) in Brazil. This is an integrative literature review carried out through the VHL portal, listing the following databases: MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF and SCIELO, using the descriptors (DECS/MESH): Maternal-Infant/Maternal- Child Health Services; Saúde da Mulher/Women's Health and Health Systems/Health Systems, through the crossing of the Boolean operator “AND”. Studies published in Portuguese, English and Spanish were included. While, the exclusion criteria were defined in review articles, experience reports, case studies, duplicate studies, letters to the editor, pre-publications (Preprints), unavailable texts in full, studies that did not answer the research question and articles published before 2011, the year in which the Ministry of Health (MS) launched the Rede Cegonha program. Initially, 388 articles were identified and, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzing the studies, 11 articles were selected to compose the present study . The studies show that despite the advances observed with the institutionalization of motherhood, it is a fact that the current model of care is still recognized as incipient and medicalized. To transform the Brazilian care model, the Ministry of Health (MS) instituted the CR strategy, which includes a care network that guarantees women the right to reproductive planning and humanized care for women, as well as that children are born safely. , grow and develop healthily. Studies on the subject are still incipient, but point to points that will inevitably boost the implementation of CR, and there should be better organization and practicality between regulatory bodies and health professionals. |
