In this sense, the general objective of this work is to understand the importance of the social dimension for these fields, approaching them from the perspective of interdisciplinarity. In order to do so, it will use a bibliographic review of the literature on the themes. Finally, it is expected with this work to contribute to the dialogue between such areas of knowledge, putting in question the need to work on this construction from the collective, dialogue, alterity and the constitution of feelings of belonging. O presente trabalho apresenta os conceitos de memória, patrimônio e museologia a partir do entendimento de que são construções sociais e por isso são campos de disputas, constrói-se e disputa-se o que é considerado patrimônio, quais memórias devem ser lembradas e o que é museu. Nesse sentido, o objetivo geral desse trabalho é compreender a importância da dimensão do social para esses campos, abordando-os a partir do viés da interdisciplinaridade. Para tanto utilizará de uma revisão bibliográfica da literatura dos temas. Por fim, espera-se com esse trabalho contribuir com o diálogo entre tais áreas de conhecimento colocando em pauta a necessidade de se trabalhar essa construção a partir da coletividade, do diálogo, da alteridade e da constituição de sentimentos de pertencimento.
