Firstly, the implications that the policies Peronist educational ideas had on Physical Education and the way in which they configured the discourses about childhood. Then, it is shown that the publications made during the second Peronist government were aligned with the idea of educating morals, behaviors and spirit in order to build the New Argentina. Finally, it is observed that there were certain ruptures and permanence on the conceptions of Physical Education, especially with regard to its teaching in schools. En este trabajo se exploran los conceptos de Educación Física a partir del análisis de los artículos publicados en la Revista de Educación Sanitaria y en la Revista de Sanidad Escolar entre 1953 y 1960. En el primer término, se destacan las implicaciones de las políticas. Los grupos educativos peronistas han estudiado la Educación Física y la forma en que han configurado los discursos sobre la infancia. Sin embargo, se muestra que las publicaciones realizadas durante el segundo gobierno peronista estuvieron alineadas con la idea de educar la moral, las conductas y el espíritu en pos de construir la Nueva Argentina. Finalmente, se observa que existen ciertas rupturas y permanencias en las concepciones de la Educación Física, especialmente en lo que concierne a su formación en las escuelas.
