Resumo: | In this paper, the conceptions about Physical Education are explored from the analysis of the articles published in the Journal of Health Education and in the Journal of School Health in the period 1953 to 1960. Firstly, the implications that the policies Peronist educational ideas had on Physical Education and the way in which they configured the discourses about childhood. Then, it is shown that the publications made during the second Peronist government were aligned with the idea of educating morals, behaviors and spirit in order to build the New Argentina. Finally, it is observed that there were certain ruptures and permanence on the conceptions of Physical Education, especially with regard to its teaching in schools. |
