| Resumo: | When reflecting on the categories of territory and place from the conception of intangible heritage established by Decree 3.551 of August 4, 2000, we seek to problematize how the sense of territoriality for the Tariano and Tukano peoples was reaffirmed from the record of the Cachoeira of Iauaretê as Brazilian intangible heritage. In this way, the combination between the natural objects that make up the place and the collective experiences that took place in it allowed us to problematize the process of reaffirming the identity of these native peoples. Thus, we articulate the meanings of territory, place and identity from the historical perspective, that is, establishing relationships between present and past, allowing dialogue with sociological, anthropological and geographical thinkings. |
