Resumo:Objective: To analyze multidisciplinary care from the perspective of professionals working in elderly health. Methodology: This is a literature review of a dissertative and explanatory nature. The database LILACS and the BDENF Library were used as theoretical basis, from the Virtual Health Library (VHL) platform and the Periodicals Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Through the Descriptors: "Elderly", "Multidisciplinary Team", "Geriatrics" and "Quality of Life", interrelated with the Boolean operators AND and OR. The inclusion criteria were: original articles, available in full, theses, dissertations, and systematic reviews on the theme in question: perception of the multidisciplinary team in the quality of life of the elderly, with a time frame of 2015 to 2022, available in electronic databases. As exclusion criteria it was decided not to use articles that were not adjusted to the object of study, which ran away from the theme proposed by the authors, those that were duplicated in electronic databases, texts that are incomplete, unavailable in full, literature reviews, guides, technical manuals and letters to the reader. Results and discussion: The multidisciplinary team approach in gerontogeriatrics ensures the elderly patient a monitoring of all their needs and the various aspects involving aging. Final considerations: it is concluded that there is a fragmentation in the health care of the elderly and that a better articulation of the activities offered is necessary, as well as in the interrelationships of professionals, aiming at the completeness of care to this specific population.
