The purpose was to know what were the productions about musical talent. An integrative review with meta-analysis and qualitative discussion was designed. The time was from 2019 to 2021 in 14 databases using nine descriptors and eight keywords. The results showed that aptitude, talent and expertise are the most used terms. Standardized or qualitative procedures did not differ (p<0.05) in preference. The productions had many participants, and there were no significant differences in musicality or training among them. 78 authors consider it positive to identify and act in the educational process of talented individuals. Brazil was in second place in the ranking of productions, behind the United States, with 2020 being the most fruitful year. It is concluded that there are educational benefits in the designation of musical talent, collaborative networks and more research. Os estudantes talentosos estão nas mais diversas áreas e são público da Educação Especial. O objetivo foi conhecer quais eram as produções sobre o talento musical. Uma revisão integrativa com meta-análise e discussão qualitativa foram delineadas. O recorte temporal foi de 2019 a 2021 em 14 bancos de dados com uso de nove descritores e oito palavras-chave. Os resultados evidenciaram que aptidão, talento e expertise são os termos mais empreendidos. Procedimentos padronizados ou qualitativos não diferiram (p<0,05) em preferência. Verificou-se, que as produções tiveram muitos participantes, e, não houve diferenças significantes na musicalidade ou treinamento entre eles. Dessa forma, 78 autores consideram positivo identificar e atuar no processo educativo de talentosos. Também, o Brasil ficou em segundo lugar no ranking das produções, atrás dos Estados Unidos, sendo 2020 o ano mais profícuo. Conclui-se, que há benefícios educacionais na designação do talento musical, sobretudo, são necessárias redes colaborativas e mais pesquisas.
